During one of his many adventures, Harry Keogh spent time on Earth's parallel world, Sunside/Starside, where he fathered twin boys, Nathan and Nestor. This series focuses on them and takes place where the Necroscope series leaves off. The people of this world live in fear of the powerful Wamphyri, who use them as sources of food and perform ghastly experiments on them. The village in which Nestor and Nathan live is raided, and Nestor is carried off by a vampire. Nestor has long wanted to be one of the powerful Wamphyri. He gets his wish, but his human memories are fragmented. He believes his greatest enemy to be Nathan and eventually tracks his brother down and has him thrown through a mysterious gateway from which most believe there is no return. This gateway leads to earth, and here Nathan teams up with the British E-Branch in an attempt to stop a rogue group of Russian psychics and the ever-voracious vampires. As in the earlier series, there is a lot of heart-pounding adventure. |
